Frequently asked questions
How much does data migration cost and how long does it take?
It depends on the number of sources, the volume and the state of the data. After the initial audit you'll get a price and a schedule before we start anything.
Will the migration run without downtime?
Yes. We first do a dry run of the migration and schedule the go-live for an agreed time, typically outside business hours or at the weekend. The old system keeps running until we have verified that everything in the new one matches.
Can you migrate data from Money to Pohoda or Shoptet?
Yes. We regularly migrate between Money, Pohoda, ABRA, Shoptet, Upgates and WooCommerce, including customers, products, prices and document history. We know where the structures differ and agree the mapping rules with you in advance.
What if the old system has neither an export nor an API?
We can still get to the data: directly from the database, from backups, from printed reports or by automating the system's user interface. There is always a way - the only question is which one makes the most sense.
